Blips & Cereal

I was sitting here, eating my cereal for dinner tonight (no, I don't do that often).  My mind started rambling. 

What makes an award-winning painting?  I pictured "blips" popping out over my head:

- stay aware of what's being painted out there 

- stay AWAY from what's being painted (choose something different or paint it differently) 

- paint it well

- frame it appropriately, and finally...

- submit it

Do you have another blip to add to mine?
